This is the privacy policy for REDLINE Events Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 14829375), trading as REDLINE. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What We Collect

When you contact us, buy a pass, sign up to our newsletter, or use our website, we may collect:

Identity data. Name, date of birth, driving licence details, photograph (where required for accreditation).

Contact data. Email, phone number, postal address, emergency contact details.

Pass and event data. Event(s) purchased, pass tier, driving experience level, vehicle details, dietary requirements, medical conditions relevant to participation, special requests.

Payment data. Payment card details and billing address. Card numbers are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) - we do not store full card details on our systems.

Marketing data. Your preferences for receiving marketing from us and the channels you'd like us to use.

Technical data. IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, referral source.

Usage data. How you interact with our website, emails, and any account areas.

How We Use It

We process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

Contract. To deliver the event you've bought a pass to. This includes sharing your details with circuits, instructors, accreditation providers, and event partners.

Legitimate interest. To respond to your enquiries, improve our website and service, prevent fraud, and (for existing customers) send service updates and limited marketing about similar events.

Consent. To send marketing emails to non-customers, set non-essential cookies, and use your photograph or testimonial in marketing where you've explicitly agreed.

Legal obligation. To meet accounting, tax, anti-money-laundering, and other regulatory obligations.

Who We Share It With

We share your personal data only with parties that need it to deliver your event experience or run our business:

  • Circuits, instructors, marshals, and accreditation providers - to deliver the event

  • Payment processors - to process your payment securely

  • IT, hosting, and email service providers - to run our website and communications

  • Professional advisers - accountants, lawyers, insurers, where legally required

  • Regulatory bodies - HMRC, ICO, local authority licensing bodies where required by law

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

International Transfers

To deliver events outside the UK, we share data with partners in Belgium, Portugal, and other event destinations. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on:

  • UK adequacy regulations (where they apply)

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK ICO

  • Appropriate safeguards under Article 46 of UK GDPR

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data, and to withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. You may complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

Security

We take security seriously. Personal data is held on secure servers, protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it. Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third parties.

Children

We do not knowingly market to or collect data from children under 14. Standard pass purchases are restricted to those aged 18+.
